Practice Admins & Referral Coordinators
PicassoMD has two user roles in addition to providers, Practice Admins (PAs) and Referral Coordinators (RCs).
PAs and RCs can use the PicassoMD website but cannot use the PicassoMD App.
Referral Coordinators
Referral Coordinators are users at a practice who send, receive, and manage referrals to/from other practices.
On PicassoMD they have the ability to:
- Receive new referrals by email
- Access and manage referrals from the PicassoMD website
- Send messages to members of the practice where the referral originated / was sent
- Send new referrals on behalf of their providers
- Receive a daily email with the status of recently received referrals
Referrals Coordinators can be configured to have access to referrals for:
- An entire practice
- Specific office locations
- Individually selected providers
Referral Coordinators can be created by:
- PicassoMD Admin
- Practice Admin
- Provider
Practice Admins
Practice Admins are users who can manage all aspects of PicassoMD on behalf of their practice.
A Practice Admin can be associated with one or multiple practices.
Only PicassoMD admins can create Practice Admins.
On PicassoMD they have the following priviledges by function:
- Referrals
- Access and manage referrals from the PicassoMD website
- Send messages to members of the practice where the referral originated / was sent
- Send new referrals on behalf of their providers
- Receive a daily email with the status of recently received referrals
- Curbsides
- View and edit all curbsides (patient name and insurance info)
- Practices
- View and edit the practice(s) they are associated with
- Specialists / Primaries / Admins
- View/add/edit Primary and Specialist providers in their practice(s)
- View the names of other Practice Admins in their practice
- View/add/edit Referral Coordinators in their practice(s)
Creating a Referral Coordinator or Practice Admin
- Only PicassoMD admins can create Practice Admins
- Referral Coordinators can be created by PicassoMD Admins, Practice Admins, and Providers
- RCs and PAs can be created from the Admins tab of the PicassoMD website
- Click "Add New"
- Enter the required information for the new RC or PA to be created
- If creating an RC, choose what level of access they should have:
- An entire practice (can access all referrals at the practice)
- Specific office locations (can access all referrals for one or more office locations)
- Individually selected providers (can access referrals only for specific providers)
- The newly created PA / RC will receive an invitation by email. Once accepted they will be able to log into the PicassoMD website.
