Specialist: Designated First Available Curbside Responder

Summary: This article provides an overview of how to designate one or more first available curbside responders both at the practice level and location level.

Easy Steps for Designating Curbside Responders

*Note: To assign a designated curbside responder, you must have Practice Admin privileges at a Specialist Practice.

We understand that some specialist practices don’t want to receive a lot of First Available Curbside notifications and, instead, want to designate one or more providers as curbside respondents for their entire practice. 

Designating First Available Curbside responders prioritizes those providers, gives them VIP access to the best curbside questions, and increases the chance for referrals.

You can designate First Available Curbside responders to an entire practice or to specific locations.

How to Add a New Designated Responder: 

  1. Log into the PicassoMD Web app
  2. Click on the “Practices” tab on the left-hand side on PicassoMD Web App Admin view
  3. Select or type the practice name in the search field in the upper right hand corner
  4. After selecting a practice, click on 'Designated Curbside Providers'. Here you can either add a new designated curbside responder or edit your current ones.
  5. To add a new designated curbside provider click ‘Add New Designated Responder’ in the upper right-hand corner.
  6. Select the dropdown and you will see the current providers names. Search for the provider you want to assign as the designated curbside responder.
  7. You can either assign them to be the responder for the Entire Practice or specific offices.
    1. To assign them to specific offices, choose the dropdown under 'Specific Offices'
  8. Click 'Save'

How to Edit and Remove Your Current Designated Curbside Responders: 

  1. Log into the PicassoMD Web app
  2. Click on the “Practices” tab on the left-hand side on PicassoMD Web App Admin view
  3. Select or type practice name in search field in the upper right-hand corner
  4. After selecting a practice, click on 'Designated Curbside Providers'. Here you can either add a new designated curbside responder or edit your current ones.
  5. To edit your Designated Curbside Responders, click on the pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner of their box.
  6. You can either assign them to be the responder for the Entire Practice or specific offices.
    1. To assign them to specific offices, choose the dropdown under 'Specific Offices'
  7. To remove them as the designated curbside responder, click 'Remove Designated Curbside Responder'.
