How to Turn On/Off your PicassoMD Notifications

Summary: Use this article to learn how you can turn on and customize your PicassoMD notifications.
Follow this simple checklist to ensure you are receiving PicassoMD notifications:
iPhone:
- Turn on PicassoMD notifications
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap Notifications
- Scroll down to the PicassoMD App and tap it
- To allow notifications, toggle the button beside “Allow Notifications” to on
- Ensure alerts are turned on for your iphone's lock screen, notification center, and banners
- If you receive Curbsides or referrals and want to hear the curbside notification sound, make sure to tap the Sounds toggle on
- Turn sound on
- On the left side of your iPhone, above the volume button, is a ring/silent switch
- To hear curbside and referral alerts, slide the switch toward you
- To make sure you’ve turned it on, look at the switch. If there is no orange color present, you’ve successfully turned on the sound!
- Turn off Do Not Disturb/ Focus
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap Focus
- Tap Do Not Disturb
- If you would like to keep the Focus function on but still receive PicassoMD notifications, tap Apps > "Allow Notifications From" > Add Apps > PicassoMD > Done
If you followed the above steps and are still not receiving notifications, try these steps:
- Check your wifi connection
- Instead of using mobile data, you may want to connect to a reliable and secure internet
- Open iPhone Settings
- Tap Wifi and check your connection
- Log out and back into the app
- Tap on the black circle in the upper left corner of the homepage screen, this will open a menu
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings screen and tap the blue “Log Out” button
- Type your email and password, or use biometrics, to log back into the app
- Restart your iPhone
For iPhone X or later
- Hold down the side button and volume up/down button
- When the power slider appears on the screen, drag it to the right to turn your phone off
- When your iPhone completely shuts off, hold down the side button to turn it back on
For iPhone 8 Plus or earlier:
- Hold down the side button
- When the power slider appears on your screen, drag it to the right to turn your phone off
- When your iPhone completely shuts off, hold down the side button to turn it back on
If none of these fix your issue, your phone may have a deeper issue. Try bringing it to Apple to see what they say.
Android:
Android devices may differ from Apple iPhone devices.
- Turn on notifications
- Open the Settings app on your phone
- Tap Notifications > App Settings
- If you are having trouble finding the PicassoMD app, tap all apps in the dropdown menu OR search for ‘PicassoMD’ by selecting the icon at the top of the screen.
- Turn on all notifications or tap the app and select specific notifications you want to receive from PicassoMD
- Turn off Do Not Disturb
- To turn Do Not Disturb on, swipe down from the top of your screen. Then tap Do Not Disturb
- Turn sound on
- Select the Settings icon from the Android phone’s home screen
- Select Sound Settings or Sound and Vibration, depending on your device type
- Make sure to clear the Silent Mode checkbox or tap Ring & Notification to adjust the volume to your liking
- Check your wifi connection
- Instead of using mobile data, you may want to connect to a reliable and secure internet
- Open Android Settings
- Tap Network & internet > Internet
- Log out and back into the app
- Tap on the black circle in the upper left corner of the homepage screen, this will open a menu
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings screen and tap the blue “Log Out” button
- Type your email and password, or use biometrics, to log back into the app
- Restart your Android
- Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds to reveal the power menu
- Select Restart to shut down the device and power it back on
