What to expect when sending a curbside

Summary: This article provides an overview of what you can expect when you send a curbside, including response times.

In total, PicassoMD supports 30 specialties that can be used for clinical decision-making support through our First Available Curbside feature. When sending a curbside, the average time for a response varies by specialty.

If your curbside is taking longer than normal, please refrain from canceling. We are working on finding a specialist for the consultation and canceling will only delay the response.

Specialty Average Time to Accept (estimates)
Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Urology, Vascular, and Wound Care <30 Seconds
Audiology, Behavioral Health, Endocrinology, General Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Obesity Medicine, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Pharmacy, and Radiology 30 - 60 Seconds
Allergy, ENT, Podiatry, and Sports Medicine >60 Seconds

Note: The average times to accept (shown above) are overall averages for each speciality and actual times could be longer. Please do not cancel your curbside, as it will only delay a response.
